I don't understand the 'replicate' page.
The 'replicate' feature is only available to members. It is to enable you to replicate the holdings and performance of the member you are tracking with you own broker. It displays the holdings you should have at any point in time, normalized to your Tracking Amount. Choose a Tracking Amount to reflect the level of activity most relevant to your own investment goals.
Why am I being recommended to buy 0 shares?
The relevant number of shares for you to buy or sell, in relation to your Tracking Amount, is rounded to a whole number. In some cases this will mean 0 shares (given the price of the stock, the amount you are tracking with, and the member's exposure). We still show you this figure to give an accurate representation of the composition of the portfolio, and as an indication of the member's desire to invest in that equity.
The Current Valuation figure looks wrong.
The Current Valuation shows you the value of your replicated portfolio had you invested your 'Tracking Amount' into these stocks with your broker. Because the member you are following will add and remove cash/stocks from their portfolio the change in value represents both change due to performance, as well as the changing size of their portfolio.
The sum of all the replicated shares times their current price (Valuation column) will not achieve the same total as the 'Current Valuation' as we round the number of shares to whole numbers for the purpose of replication.
I haven't received any notification emails.
It is possible that none of the members you are tracking have executed any trades since you began tracking them. Please first check your spam folder. Also ensure that you have checked at least one of the two Notification Preferences boxes under Settings. If you can see on a member's individual holding page that he/she has executed a trade since you began tracking them and you have not received an email notification then please Contact Us.
How do I change the frequency of email notifications?
The frequency of email notifications can be changed in the settings/preferences section of your account.
How do I stop tracking a member?
To stop tracking a member go to their 'Tracking' page and either change the Tracking Amount to 0, or click on the 'stop tracking' link beneath the tracking amount entry box. You can also click on the ‘x’ next to the members name on your network page ‘Track list’ and it will ask for confirmation that you wish to remove them from your Network.
