How do I put a widget on my external blog?
You must have connected a portfolio in order to use the Covestor widgets other than the membership stamp. To put widgets on your blog, go to your Widgets page in your account and cut and paste the HTML to the appropriate place on your own website/blog page.
The widget is not updating
Only the Investment Record widget will continuously update when posted on your external blog. The Holding Verification and Membership Stamp widgets are fixed at a point in time to add weight to what you are saying on your own site.
If I have kept my profile private, and post a widget to my external blog, can
non-members still track my trades?
No. If you have chosen to keep your profile accessible to members only, anyone wishing to track your trades will need to register on the site.
Registration can be done from the homepage, or on the page linked to from the widget. They will only need to enter a username, password and email to enable them to create an account on Covestor.
