Minutes ago Skinny Nutritional Corp. (OTCBB: SKNY, featured earlier here and here), which is now down roughly thirty three percent in just two days, announced it has “Bottled the Energy and Passion of Fitness Guru Pat Croce.” Aside from being compeltely devoid of any real information, this PR contains an interesting sentence:

Enhanced water beverages are the fastest growing segment in the beverage industry, led by leaders such as Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO), Pepsi (NYSE:PEP), and Cadbury Schweppes PLC (NYSE:CSG).

Was it really necessary to mention that Skinny Corp. makes beverages just like NYSE: KO, NYSE: PEP, and NYSE: CSG? This is just another blatant attempt to sneak this press release into the news feeds for other corporations. SKNY might as well mention that it is using software made by Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and cars manufactured by General Motors (NYSE: GM).
