Investment Style

I've only been seriously investing for the last 6 years. I've been a member of an investment group for the last 3+.
90-95% of my portfolio is composed of retirement-only accounts, as my 401k is basically a stylized traditional IRA (I love Genentech's retirement plan!), and I have a smaller rollover Roth, as well. This means that I have virtually no tax considerations.
I have a mixture of medium to long ETF positions to balance the portfolio across most sectors and industries and the rest is a mixture of short to medium positions (~6mo-2yr max) that I use to try and boost my alpha... more

I first started a small "practice" investment account while I was in college and was watching all of my friends that were a little older and graduating getting rich during the tech boom.
Since then, I have been steadily increasing my financial and investment knowledge and now actively invest along many different avenues.
