Over the past two days, I should have been making money hand over fist.  Instead I've stumbled and bumbled my way to barley break even.  I have two issues that I need to correct today;

1) Impulse trading

2) Moving my stops

I find that my pre-trade analysis and pattern recognition has gotten substantially better in the past 4 months or so, however my incessant need to move my stops prematurely has left with a lot of regrets. Over these past two days, I've made several trades that would have netted me over 20 times my allotted risk capital (not joking here). However micromanaging issues have forced me in making only one times my dollars at risk.

The only thing that's saved me is my desire to cut my losers short quickly, however this is a double edged sword. Had I accept full losses in my losing trades by not touched the stops on my winners, I would be so far ahead.

So the moral of the story here is; Trust your initial analysis and stop fiddling with the mouse.

Anyway, Fed meets today. I hope they cut 0 basis points. I love the volatility and don't want to see the reversion to the mean.  However, I'm sure they will cut 50 today.  This coupled with the amazing $600 government check, I can now buy the iphone and finance the warranty for a very low interest rate. I will be shutting down my computer at 12 or so today.  I'm a tiny investor/trader, I don't have the fund to withstand the back and forth whipping. Let's see what the tide brings in today.
