Investment Style
First, good technicals for long candidates (or bad technicals for short candidates). Second, strong fundamentals (or poor fundamentals for short candidates). Third, I stick to industries I know: technology, retail and restaurants, with occasional oddball stocks. Fourth, I sometimes trade foreign stocks and country ETF's. Fifth, I pay no attention to valuation, because there are so many different ways to value stocks, and because I want to ride the next Dell, Cisco or eBay. Sixth, I ignore sell side analysts. Seventh, my approach is all bottom up.
How Growth_Leaders Got Started
I wrote stock reports, mostly on small-caps, for two now defunct stock publications. For the second, I did all the research, analysis and stock picking. Subsequently, I was the Technology Analyst for three money managers.
