Investment Style

It's a mix of technical and fundamental analysis, with some contrarianism thrown in. I use stocks mostly, but will use an occasional fund or ETF when merited. I also trade options in certain circumstances. I don't need to sell short any longer ... there are enough bearish ETFs available to make the equivalent to a short trade.

My motivation to get out of the brokerage and advice industry and into the education/writing side of the industry was simple - the average broker or adviser is unable to give good advice. As a freelance writer, I have an opportunity to tell people how the market really works.
