Victim of Panic Selling
Holding Rationale for ADPI.
This company recently lost a judgment in a civil suit regarding contractual breach and other offenses. The jury's award was astounding and the stock tanked nearly 70 percent in one day. With very little research, I bought a chunk, speculating on my sense that things are rarely as bad as they initially seem. I assumed that stockholders panicked and that automated selling programs kicked in. I'm further assuming that the stock was oversold in a frenzy and I could get a dollar for 50 cents, as they say. After making my impulsive purchase, I actually conducted more in depth research. Much uncertainty remains at this point. The parties in question are currently in mediation, as ordered by the judge, who is apparently not in agreement with the jury's award. I am hopeful, and I will sell on a significant bounce. I am hoping for a 50% to 100% gain in one to six months.
