I am reducing my target cash position from 35% to 30%.

Hi Richard, so you are vesting more money into the market even as the sell off continues to ensue? I noticed you have a strong position in the SPY; I take it you are a long term investor during these troublesome times yes? Best of luck out there!

I use SPY as a proxy for the market when I can't find any individual stocks that meet my criteria. My cash target of 30% means that my indicators are mostly neutral with one exception which is very negative. In general, I will be buying on the way down and selling on the way up. I'm not smart enough to pick the exact tops and bottoms. I have not been in a hurry to reach my cash target in this environment so my actual cash position is still in excess of 35%. Unfortunately, that doesn't matter to Covestor because they don't measure your total portfolio - just the invested portion. Thanks for your best wishes - and same to you!
