How TheTourist Got Started
Bought one stock in 1994, SAP, because I was working as a contractor in Oracle Financials, SAP's main competitor. Our site ran both. Everyone who used Oracle hated it. And everyone who used SAP had a weird apple-esce need to evangelise. So I bought the stock.
My coming of age as an investor, and it defined who I was then, was shorting ZIXI. The easiest, ATM short I've ever known.
