Oil has dropped, but gas has remained high

Miami - $3.95 / gallon

Austin  - $3.80 / gallon

San Diego   - $4.30/ gallon

Pittsburgh - $3.80 / gallon

Vancouver, Canada  - $1.38 / Liter  = $5.40 / gallon

Europe  - $9.00 / gallon

The price of gas here in Vancouver is ridiculous compared to the US, but pales in comparison to Europe. It didn’t use to be so bad when the Canadian dollar was so weak that it was .60 cents to the US dollar, but we’re basically at par now.

When oil was at it’s peak the price of gas topped at $1.52 / gallon. Now that oil has come down $32.00 off it’s high, you’d think that the price of gas would’ve come down proportionately. We filled up our tank yesterday and the price at the time of the fill up was $1.38. In what world does a $32 drop in oil prices justify a meager .14 cent drop in gas prices?
