Observations: The last two weeks of August have a history of being very boring, and slightly frustrating as a trader in my mind. They are characterized as having low voume with erratic price swings, and both of those showed up in today’s action. It was very noticeable in my scans as I didn’t find a single addition to the Beta watchlist and I’m going to wait until tomorrow before I delete any as we could just as easily have a 200 point rally. I’ll be posting less this week as I prepare for our family vacation on Saturday to the Okanagon, which will last until after Labor day. Every year I tell myself that I’m going to take the last 2 weeks of August off, and this year I’m going to do it as I feel it’s important to get away, clear the mind, and relax.
