Another parade of Lemmings
Retail and Consumer Discretionary are the latest sectors to fit into the “Lemmings” pattern which doesn’t bode well for the overall economy. My results from this scan yielded quite a few results like last night, so I’m going to list them here and update my charts on the Lemmings page. I’ve never seen this many results in any two day period before and to be honest I’m not sure exactly how to read into this. Either the market is gearing itself up for a tumble or it’s going to surprise a lot of people if it rallies. August is a really difficult month to get a feel for the markets so I’m trading very small positions gearing up for vacation next week.
